Stanley Gene Robinson, age 73 of Rockvale, TN passed away at home on Tuesday, March 26, 2024, surrounded by his loving family. He was born December 9, 1950, in Murfreesboro, TN to the late Ernest Freeland and Thelma Lucille Rich Robinson. Also preceded in death by his brother-in-law, Wayne Shockey. He is survived by his loving wife of 53 years, Margie Willard Robinson; son, Randy (Debbie) Robinson; daughter, Rabecca ( Michael) Walls; grandchildren, Hunter Walls; Gage Walls; brothers, Ray (Susan) Robinson; Earl (Pat) Robinson; Jerry (Patti) Robinson; sisters, Thelma Shockey; and Brenda (Buckwheat) Willis. Stanley was a retired fireman of 22 years at the Veterans Administration. He was of the Baptist faith. He loved farming, but most of all he loved his family. Visitation with the family will be held at Murfreesboro Funeral Home on Thursday, March 28, 2024, from 10am – 1pm with the service to follow at 1pm. Interment will be at Robinson Ridge Cemetery with Bro. Roy Robinson officiating. Pallbearers will be family and friends. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Alive Hospice in Murfreesboro, TN. in Stanley’s name.
