Obituary of David Norris Martin

David Norris Martin, aka Shrek, age 55 of Murfreesboro, TN went to be with his Lord and Savior on Wednesday, February 28, 2024.
He was born September 3, 1968, in Chattanooga, TN to Louis Kelley and Edith Martin.
He was preceded in death by his father, Louis Kelley Martin, and brother, James Michael Martin.
David is survived by his loving wife, Rose Dame – Martin; mother, Edith Martin; daughters, Krista (Cody Brewton) Martin; Mikaiah (Anthony) Farrell; Alainna (Dylan Rainey) Martin; Brittanie Nash; Sarah Zurstadt; cousins, Darrell Camp; Doug Camp; Bill Martin; sister-in-law, Gabrielle Martin; niece, Nicole Martin; and nephew, Joshua (Reva) Martin.
David served the Church for 25 years as a Pastor. He was the chaplain for the Eagleville High School Football team and worked 3 years as the Fire Chief at Eagleville Fire Department.
He had several passions; one, being the Co-Founder of the King’s Forge and the second for having an Old Fashion Lemonade stand at the Renaissance Festival for 35 years.
He was the best daddy a girl could ask for. He had the biggest, most loving heart one could ask for. David also being one of the best sons, and husband; but if you were his friend then you were family.
Visitation with the family will be held Saturday, March 2, 2024, from 4pm – 6pm with a Celebration of Life service to follow at 6pm.
