Tina Sue Spurling, age 55 of Murfreesboro, TN went to her heavenly home on Monday, January 1, 2024.

Born on February 25, 1968, in Nashville, TN to Robert and Leona Carlton.

She was preceded in death by her grandson, Bennett Johnston; grandparents, Richard and Margie Carlton; Ernest and Liza Wilson; and In-laws, Charlie and Bessie Spurling.

She is survived by her loving husband of 31 years, Carl Spurling; son, Joshua Johnston (Katie Milligan); granddaughter, Addison Spurling; grandsons, Joshua Spurling Jr., Abraham Johnston; parents, Robert and Leona Carlton; and brothers, John Jr (Nadine) Carlton; and Samuel Carlton.

Visitation with the family will be held at Murfreesboro Funeral Home on Thursday, January 4, 2024 from 4pm – 8pm. Service will be Friday, January 5, 2024 at 10am with Pastor Kevin Allen officiating. Interment will follow at Carlton Cemetery.

Tina was a dedicated member of Centerpointe Apostolic. She loved crafting, was a Sunday school teacher, bus ministry, and loved kids. Most of all she loved her family.
