Please share a memory of Christian to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.
Christian Blake Hayes, age 23, of Memphis, TN passed away on Thursday, September 14, 2023.
Today, we gather here to remember and celebrate the life of Christian Blake Hayes, or as many knew him, Blake. Blake was a true force of joy and generosity, always lighting up any room he entered. His vibrant spirit made him the life of the party, bringing smiles and laughter to all who knew him.
Blake had a deep love for animals and aspired to become a veterinarian. However, the loss of his older brother in 2020 deeply affected him, causing him to lose himself along the way. Despite his own struggles, Blake remained a pillar of support and love for his family, especially as a wonderful uncle to his nieces and nephews.
I remember the day I adopted Blake as a baby, a moment that filled my heart with immense happiness. As the middle child of seven, Blake brought a special energy and connection to his siblings. He was a source of love, laughter, and camaraderie, always there to lend a helping hand or offer a listening ear.
Today, as we say goodbye to Blake, let us remember the beautiful memories we shared with him. Let us cherish the laughter, the love, and the impact he had on our lives. Blake's spirit will live on in our hearts, and his generosity and zest for life will continue to inspire us.
May we find solace in knowing that Blake's journey, though cut short, was filled with love and the joyous moments he shared with us. Rest in peace, dear Blake. You will be deeply missed but never forgotten.
Blake is survived by his Mother and Father, Raquel and Tommy Hayes, his brothers and sisters David Johnson, Jordan Hayes, Brenden Hayes, Brittany Hayes and Carmen Hayes. His loving grandparents Emma Creed, Marlene Pfeifer and Thomas Hayes Sr.. His uncles Javier, Eloy Escobar, Buck Pfeifer and Ryan and Andrew Hayes, as well as 11 nieces and nephews and his biological mother Christen Abudhair. He is preceded by his maternal grandfather Saul Lande and his older brother Charles Nathaniel Johnson.
Along with myself, my family wishes to express our heartfelt thanks to all that has and continue to give their support, compassion, and love throughout this very difficult time. I know that Blake and Nathan would not want us to cry.
Blakey, I will be with you again baby, but until then I will do all I can to keep my last promise to your brother. May you rest in peace. You will live on through all of us because legends never die. Jesus loves you and so do I! Love, Mom
So do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you
