OraBell LaFrenier age 81 of Murfreesboro, TN passed away peacefully surrounded by family on July 9, 2023. She was born OraBell Marie Midgley on September 13, 1941 in Safford, Arizona to William & Ida Bell Midgley. Bell devoted herself to her role as a Christian, homemaker and mother to her daughters Sherry, Donna, Dalisa and son Tony. She was a loving wife to her husband of 59 years, they were true soulmates and had a marriage full of genuine love for each other and we’re together for every moment. Bell was active in her church River Rock Baptist and was known for her love of the Lord and her family. She had several small businesses including an in home daycare, variety store, ceramic shop, flea market booths, craft sales, and more. Bell enjoyed spending time with her family, making and teaching crafts, babysitting, cooking, baking, and camping with family and friends.

Throughout her life, Bell put her family first. She was the primary caregiver to her daughter Sherry who passed last year after a long battle with cancer and did so with a caring heart and without regret. Bell would always go above and beyond for those less fortunate and would do without for herself if necessary to serve others first.

Bell lived in Arizona, California, Oklahoma, Minnesota, with her final roots being in Tennessee.

Bell is preceded in death by her daughter Sherry Carter, granddaughter Christyn Munoz, great-great granddaughter Aubriella Torres, mother Ida Bell Andrews, father William Midgley, and sister Delores Smithson.

Bell is survived by her husband Anthony (Tony) LaFrenier, children Donna Howe (John Howe), Dalisa Munoz, Anthony LaFrenier II (Kellie LaFrenier). Siblings Bill Midgley (Pearlene Midgley), Glen Midgley (Mary Midgley), Dora Coose (Glover Coose), 15 grand children, 32 great grand children, and 5 great-great grand children.

Visitation with the family will be held on Monday July 17, 2023 from 10am – 1pm at Murfreesboro Funeral Home.

Funeral services will be held on Monday July 17, 2023 at 1pm at Murfreesboro Funeral Home with burial to follow at Evergreen Cemetery.
