Claud Dorris Mears, age 65 of Murfreesboro, TN passed away on Monday, July 10, 2023, at home.
Claud was a lifelong resident of Murfreesboro, TN and was of the Baptist faith.
Born in Murfreesboro, TN on September 123, 1957, to the late James and Flodie Underwood Mears.
Also preceded in death by his brothers, Frank Prater; Wade Prater; Howard Prater; James Prater; Gary Prater; James Mears; sisters, Ruth Prater; Ruby Prater; Shirley Prater; Judy Mears; Francis Mears; Dixie Mears; Annette Mears; and Peggy Mears.
He is survived by the love of his life, Doris Ann Mears; and brother, Billy (Kathy) Mears.
Visitation with the family will be held at Murfreesboro Funeral Home on Thursday, July 13, 2023, from 2pm – 6pm. Services will be Friday, July 14, 2023, at 2pm with Pastor Dwight Smitty officiating. Interment will follow at Evergreen Cemetery.
