Obituary of Jerry Methvin

Jerry Methvin, 67, of Murfreesboro, passed away Thursday, May 17, 2012 at Middle Tennessee Medical Center. Mr. Methvin was born in Shelbyville to the late Alfred and Nell Methvin. He was a 1972 graduate of Middle Tennessee State University, member of World Outreach Church, and a veteran of the United States Army. He was a loving father and grandfather.
Mr. Methvin was preceded in death by his wife, Marianna Methvin, parents, and brother George Methvin Sr. He was survived by his daughter, Kara (Brian) Redden; sons, Tony (Carla) Methvin; Scott Methvin; stepson, Richard (Tonya) Youree all of Murfreesboro; grandchildren, Taylor Ann Hadley; Kyle Hadley; Garrett Redden; Claire Redden; sister, Nelda (Lillard) Brown of Brentwood.
Graveside service will be Wednesday, May 23, 2012 at 11:00am at Evergreen Cemetery with Pastor Allen Jackson officiating.
In lieu of flowers family ask for donations to be made to Tennessee Fisher House, PO Box 774, Brentwood, TN 37024.
