Leonard Horace Douglas, Jr., age 94 passed away Monday, April 17, 2023.
Leonard was a wonderful husband, father and brother. He worked hard for his family, he loved nature being outside working in his garden and with his flowers. He worked 60 years before retiring, 37 years at Rutherford County Creamery and 23 years at the Rutherford County Co-Op.
He loved traveling and loved the Lord going to church at Crescent church of Christ where he was a loyal member.
He is preceded in death by his children Judy Douglas Benton, Leonard L. Douglas, and Gary Douglas.
He is survived by his wife of 72 years Kathleen Tucker Douglas; son David (Sandy) Douglas of Murfreesboro; sister Joan (Calvin) Faulk of Midland, and brother Bobby Douglas of Murfreesboro, several loving nieces and nephews.
Visitation with the family will be 12:00-2:00 pm Thursday, April 20, 2023 at Murfreesboro Funeral. Graveside services to follow at 2:30 pm at Roselawn Memorial Gardens with Bro. David Mitchell officiating.
Memorials may be made to Crescent church of Christ building fund.
