James Presley Briley II “Boots”, age 77 of Murfreesboro, TN passed away at home on Monday, April 3, 2023, surrounded by his family.
Jim was born on February 26, 1946, to the late James Presley and Hilda Herrod Briley.
Also preceded in death by his sister, Betty Lynn Briley, and grandson, Hayden Alexander.
He is survived by his loving wife of 41 years, Patsy Bly Briley; children, Lynn (Terry) Parker; Mandy (Jeremy) Briley; Larry (Jennifer) Alexander; Shelia (Joe ) Whitaker; Jami Russell; Rylee Russell; grandchildren, Cotey; Logan; Haley; Devlin; Destiny; Dalton; Marissa; Shawn; C.J.; great grandchildren, John Brylee; Emily; Ellee; AnnaBell; Brendan; Lagan; Johnathon; brother, Ronnie (Liz) Briley; best friend, Wally Harris; and several nieces and nephews.
Visitation with the family will be held at Murfreesboro Funeral Home on Thursday, April 6, 2023, from 4pm – 6pm with a Celebration of Life service to begin at 6pm in the chapel. Pastor Trey Gambill will be officiating.
