Christopher Mitchell Johnson, age 42 of Murfreesboro, TN unexpectedly left us on Monday, February 20, 2023.
Chris was preceded in death by his mother, Pamela Hunter Johnson; and grandparents, Jesse and Irene Hunter, and Jasper and Josephine Johnson.
He is survived by his three children, Patience Johnson; Gavin Johnson; and Gage Johnson; the children’s mother, Ashley Gillespie; father, Mitchell Johnson and stepmother, Judy Johnson; brothers, Jason (Jackie) Johnson, Dallas Johnson; niece, Braelyn Johnson; nephew, Aiden Johnson; and a very special aunt, Jan Welch; who filled in for her sister, stood by, loved, and cared for Chris for the biggest part of his life. Along with several beloved aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.
Visitation with the family will be held at Murfreesboro Funeral Home on Friday, February 24, 2023, from 5pm – 7pm with a Celebration of Life service to follow in the chapel.
