Preceded in death by parents Obie Lee and Flossie Jean Shipp; brothers Joseph Johnson and Bevis Dwain Shipp Sr.; sister Rose Mary Johnson and brother-in-law Timothy Perdue; nephew Allen Perdue.
Survived by wife Jacqueline Shipp; 2 daughters Kerri Lynn Shipp-Mendez and husband Juan Carlos Mendez, Sr., of Texas and Jamie Marie Thompson of Vermont; son Dustin James Thompson of Tennessee; grandchildren Anthony Jordan Shipp, Sam Graves Jr., Victor Graves, Faith Marshall, Hope Marshall, Hannah Thompson and Joseph Thompson; 2 great grandchildren Kailynn Lynice Shipp and Nevaeh Elisabeth-Leigh Shipp; brother Clifton David Johnson, Sr.; brothers-in-law Vincent Perdue, Charles (Yvonne) Perdue; sisters-in-law Elizabeth Wahweotten and Michella (Nick) Sturtevant; 20 nieces and nephews and cousin-caregiver Kristen Warner-Simmons and a multitude of family and friends to numerous to mention everyone.
