Obituary of Kaytlynn Grace Burks

Kaytlynn Grace Burks, precious baby girl of Anthony and Casey (Glissen) Burks was born into the arms of angels Saturday, January 21, 2023 at 9:55 am at St. Thomas Midtown. Born at 20 weeks and 5 days, she weighed 11.5 oz and was 10.5 inches long. Our little angel will never be forgotten. She was preceded in death by her maternal great grandparents Thomas & Lowanda Pulliam and David & Okie Glissen; paternal great grandparents Melvin Noel Burks, Jr. & Mary Janet Fridley Burks and Darrell Ralph Sugg. In addition to her parents and big brother Austin Noel Burks, Kaytlynn is survived by maternal grandparents- Terry and Rhonda Glissen; Paternal Great-Grandmother Karen Lynn Pohlman Fleshman; Paternal Grandparents Melvin Noel Burks, III and Donna Lynn Burks. Aunts Courtney Glissen and Heather Glissen. Uncles Michael Burks(Amber Burks), Jeff Glissen, and Randall Glissen. Cousins – Trevor, Kayley, Jase, Barrett, Colton, Ryder, Remy Kate, Kayla, and Theo. Anthony and Casey would like to personally thank everyone that had a hand in providing care during their pregnancy for all of their love, compassion, and support during this very tough time. We will be forever grateful. To our family and friends, thank you for your unwavering support as we navigate the unimaginable loss of our daughter. The family is encouraging everyone to wear pink in loving memory of Kaytlynn Grace Burks. Visitation will be held Saturday, February 4th from 1 pm to 2 pm with funeral immediately following at Murfreesboro Funeral Home located at 145 Innsbrooke Blvd. Murfreesboro, TN 37128. Burial to follow visitation and services at Evergreen Cemetery located at 519 Greenland Drive Murfreesboro, TN 37130.
