Obituary of Freeland Frances Williams

Freeland Frances Williams, born January 24,1929 was a beloved
mother, grandmother, great and great great grandmother during her
incredible 94 years of life. She passed away peacefully after a brief
illness on Saturday January 28, 2023.
She was the fourth of 7 children born to Earnest Monroe Puckett and
Ovie Turner Puckett.
She was preceded in death by her loving husband of 55 years, James
Oliver Williams and son, Robert Harold Williams.
She is survived by her sons James Herman (Gloria) Williams, John
Milton (Wanda) Williams and daughter in law Candie Williams.
She had 8 grand children, including Keith (Kelly) Williams, Lori (Matt) Brown, Anita
(Scott) Findlay, Rita (Todd) Myers, Jamie (Keefe) Lemmon, 19 great
grand children and 3 great great grand children.
Freeland was a graduate of Rockvale High School. She retired after
dedicating 31 years of service to Emerson Electric (formerly
Chromalox). She was a lifelong resident of Midland Community in
Rutherford County and a faithful member of Midland Baptist Church.
She lived a full life as a wonderful wife, mother and homemaker. She
was an amazing seamstress, avid gardener and enjoyed cooking.
But most of all, she loved her family and friends. She will be dearly
missed and forever in our hearts.
Her funeral services will be held at Murfreesboro Funeral Home, 145
Innsbrooke Blvd, Murfreesboro, on Thursday February 2, 2023.
Visitation from 11am-1pm. Funeral services will begin at 1pm.
Brother Donnie Clemons officiating. Burial immediately following at
Whitworth Cemetery. Keith Williams, Scott Findlay, Todd Myers,
Keefe Lemmon, Bill Snaith and Chad Graves serving as pallbearers.
