Linda Carol Lunday, age 79 of Murfreesboro, TN went to be with her Lord in Heaven on January 15, 2023.
Linda was born in Dallas, TX on December 24, 1943, to the late Edgar L. Foote and Vivian Robertson Foote.
Linda and Joseph married September 10, 1965 at First Baptist church of Oak Cliff, Dallas, TX.
She graduated Justin F. Kimball High School in 1961, then went on to receive a double associate degree from Richland Community College in 1999. From there she attended Texas A & M Commerce in 2002 to receive her bachelor’s degree. In 2008 she graduated from Kansas State University with a master’s degree.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Edgar and Vivian Foote, husband, Joseph Stanley Lunday; sister, Mary Ann Foote; and godmother, Mrs. Jack “Audie” McCord.
She is survived by her sons, Jeffrey Stephen Lunday; James Edward Lunday; Gerald Alan (Debi) Lunday; grandchildren, Adrienne Michelle Slusser; Justin Stephen Lunday; Faith Elizabeth Lunday; Garrett Bryce Lunday; Grant Christian Lunday; great grandchildren, Jayden; Landen; River; Lake; Henry; and several cousins.
Visitation with the family will be held at Murfreesboro Funeral Home on Thursday, January 19, 2023 from 10am – 11am with services to follow at 11am in the chapel. Pastor Don Herron will be officiating. Interment will be held at Restland Cemetery in Dallas, TX.
