James Jacob Morton Sr., age 86 of Rockvale, TN passed away on Monday, January 2, 2023.
He was born on February 14, 1936, to the late Jacob and Lula Auberry Morton.
Also preceded by his wife; Sylvia Ann Pinkerton Morton, son; Timothy P. Morton, granddaughter; Amy Tatham, grandson; Addison Scott Bond, and sisters; Margaret Smith and Virginia Spence.
He is survived by his children; Judith Jacqulyn (Anthony) Burklew, James Jacob Jr. (Kay) Morton, Paul Joseph (Julie) Morton, 9 grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren, and 1 great great-grandchild.
Graveside services will be held on Saturday, January 7, 2023, 10am at Whitworth Cemetery with Pastor Robert Tuttle officiating. Family will be pallbearers.
