Evelyn Sue Fisher, age 88 of Murfreesboro, TN formally of Decatur, IL, passed away peacefully at home on Saturday, December 24, 2022.
She retired from Borg Warner as a Quality Control Supervisor. She was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church in Decatur, IL and later a member of Grace Lutheran Church in Murfreesboro, TN.
She was born on January 29, 1934, in Olney, IL to the late Lloyd and Leatha Freeze Beck.
Also preceded in death by her husband; Dean Fisher, son; Richard Fisher, and a sister; Shirley Kileen.
She is survived by her daughters; Lori Arnold, Judy Paine, Barbara Scott, grandchildren; Jennifer Dye, Holly Pierce, Dustin Floyd, Corey Floyd, Kyle Glenn, Alva Womack, Gretchen Paine, Arin Collins, Joshua Hicks, Samantha Collins, Kristin Scott, Amy Jo Fisher, Derrick Fisher, 24 great grandchildren, 3 great great grandchildren, niece: Nicole Pitts, and a nephew; Ed Kileen.
She loved her doll collection, reading, and sewing. Most of all she loved her family.
Visitation with the family will be held at Murfreesboro Funeral Home on Saturday, December 31, 2022, from 2pm – 4pm. The interment will be at Friends Creek Cemetery in Argenta, IL.
