Darrell Wayne Hawkes passed away on December 14, 2022, peacefully at home surrounded by loved ones who will strive to honor his memory by living their lives to the fullest.
Darrell loved to help other people. He retired after 30 years from the City of Miami as a Lieutenant Firefighter. Darrell enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren and great grandchildren. He was an avid traveler with Maureen by his side, kids and grandchildren as well. He also loved to go to Casino’s.
Darrell is survived by his loving wife Maureen, married 55 years, his sons Mark, and Michael, along with his granddaughters Brittany, and Taylor. He is also survived by his great grandchildren, Kolby, and Kalia. Also survived by his sister Linda Hawkes and brother Greg.
Visitation with the family will be 11:00am until 1:00pm Saturday, December 17, 2022 at Murfreesboro Funeral Home with the service at 1:00pm.
