Obituary of Linda Kelli Lamb

Linda Kelli Lamb, age 51 of Rockvale, TN passed away on September 3, 2022, after a long battle with lung cancer. She is survived by her devoted husband, Michael Glenn Lamb, of 25 wonderful years; sons, Nathan Richard (Laura) Lamb, and Tyler Michael Lamb; two loving grandchildren, Samuel Hopkins Farris and Kaitlyn Belle Lamb; mother, Linda Harris Farris; siblings, William Hopkins (Anna) Farris, Margaret Beth (Mark) Sesler, and Samuel Jerome Farris (Troy Marden); nephews, Matthew Cole (Jessica) Farris, and Thomas Henry Sesler; several close uncles, aunts, and cousins. She is preceded in death by her son Alex Christopher Farris and her father William Hopkins "Billy" Farris, paternal grandparents Sam Cox and Sammie Carlton Farris, maternal grandparents Henry Dennis and Annie Margaret Whitsett Harris. Kelli was a member of Crescent Church of Christ. She loved her church family and their fellowship together. Known for her contagious laughter that could be heard for miles away, Kelli was always up for having a good time, whether it be horse riding with lifelong friends, a trip to the beach with family or thrifting with her mother. Her greatest pride and joy were her grandchildren. Always bragging over Kaitlyn, especially her crocheting, and the blanket Kelli so proudly was always snuggled up in. "Nannie" forgot what the word no was when Sam was born. Anytime he was in the room, there was a smile on her face. She was determined to live long enough for him to remember her. Visitation will be Thursday, September 8, 2022 from 10am - 2pm at Murfreesboro Funeral Home. Funeral service to follow at 2pm with Bro. Darryl Lewis officiating. Burial will proceed at Farris Cemetery in Rockvale, TN with Mickey Williams, Lee Moore, Nathan Powers, Jeff Clark, Andy Carter, Sam Feinstein, Rick Hall and Sam Cook serving as pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers will be Shannon Harris, Lance Lamb, Darren Lamb, Jeremy Lamb, Patrick Cole, Bryan Lamb, and Eric Lamb.
