Obituary of Katherine Ann Walls Colvin

Katherine Ann Walls Colvin, age 50 of Murfreesboro, TN passed away unexpectedly on Monday, August 22, 2022. She currently attended New Zion Church of Christ. She graduated from Middle Tennessee State University with a Bachelor’s degree, then graduated from Vanderbilt University with a Master’s degree as a Nurse Practitioner, and was working on her Doctorate degree at East Tennessee State University as a DNP. She is preceded in death by her father; Bobby Walls. She is survived by her loving husband of 11 years, Lee Colvin, son; Devin Speight, mother; Marie S. Langford, sister; Monica Mackie (John), brother; Michael Walls, nieces; Carlee Milligan and Jordan Harris (Hayden Wieck), a great niece; Ruby Wieck, in-laws; Ernie and Nancy Colvin, brother in law; Heath Colvin, nephew; Hunter (Bethany) Milligan, great nieces and nephews; Harper Milligan, Joseph Milligan, and Orion Milligan. She loved spending time with her family, her pets, and traveling. But most of her time was spent with her and Lee following Devin to his sporting events. A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, September 24, 1pm, at Salem Creek Church of Christ, 2525 Salem Creek Drive, Murfreesboro, TN. Visitation will be 11-1pm. In lieu of flowers, donations in Katherine's memory may be made to Blood Water Mission, AGAPE Nashville and Hands on Nashville, with acknowledgements sent to Lee Colvin, 1006 Loblolly Drive, Murfreesboro, TN 37128.
