Brother Travis was one of the first to welcome me to Athens Church of Christ. I have felt close to him with his struggles as my own family also is challenged with health issues. I pray for his sweet and precious wife, and the children and grandchildren. This is a huge loss for them. I remember losing my dad. He was a rock for us. Time heals and find memories cannot be taken from us but I miss him and know you do as well. God is with you all. He has his child in his arms now. God bless and keep you. It was my great privilege to work with Travis for nearly 5 years at Ashland. Travis was indefatigable in his work, preparing lessons, visiting members, holding home Bible studies, making sure to get Krispy Kreme donuts for his children's birthdays, working at church summer camps, planning and paying with his own money for church growth and encouragement seminars. He was a good friend, a good neighbor, a good preacher, and a good example of letting Jesus live within.
Blessings and condolences to his lovely family who were so fortunate to have such a son, husband, father, and grandfather.
