Obituary of Tina Joy Upton

Tina Upton, age 72 yrs. went home to be with Jesus on April 6, 2022. Tina was born in Grand Rapids, Michigan on August 31, 1949. Her family moved to Kankakee, Ill shortly after her birth, where she lived till she was age 21. She then moved to TN to live with her Aunt Pat and Uncle Ray until recently and spent her final days at Celebration Way assisted living in Shelbyville, Tn.
Tina is preceded in death by her parents Ed and Gladys Upton, her aunt and uncle Raymond and Patricia Upton.
She was a member of Franklin Road Baptist Church and attended Temple Baptist church nearer to her home as her abilities declined. Tina had many friends who loved her at both these wonderful churches and the family is very grateful for those friendships!
A small graveside ceremony with friends and family will be held 4:00 pm Tuesday, April 12 at Windrow Rd. Baptist Church Cemetery where she will be laid to rest.
