Ellis R. Wright Sr., age 84 yrs, born April 29, 1937 in Rutherford County, passed away Wednesday, April 6, 2022.
Preceded in death by parents William and Athie Wright; brothers George William Wright and Doris Ray Wright; sisters Juanita Halliburton, Barbara Halliburton and Betty Faye Smith; and beloved dog Reba.
Survived by wife Betty N. Wright; son Ellis “Randy” (Janice) Wright, JR.; daughter Debbie Wright; grandchildren Meredith (Lee) Dozier, Stephanie Wright, Brooklyn (Thomas) Damron, Molly McPherson, Taylor McPherson; great grandchildren Julia and Colin Dozier, Lily and Ben Travis, Arrow and Juniper Damron and Kinsley Bynum; brother Edmond (Connie) Wright.
Ellis was a loving husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather, brother, friend and neighbor, and was loved by all who knew him. He also retired from Aladdin Industry after 39 years of service.
Funeral services will be held 2:00 pm Friday, April 8, 2022 at Mount Pleasant Baptist Church, 815 Haunt Hollow Rd, Rockvale, TN 37153 with visitation 12:00 until service time at the church. Burial will follow at the Mount Pleasant Baptist Church Cemetery.
