Obituary of Richard Allen Fox Sr

Richard Allen Fox Sr. “Rickey” was called to his Heavenly home on February 20, 2022. Rickey was born July 26, 1955, to James Ewing Fox Jr. and Martha Ann (Robinson) Fox. Both preceded him in death, as well as his sister, Melinda Fox Pace; sister-in-law, Evelyn Landers Fox; stepdaughter, Jessica Brandon. Rickey is survived by his loving wife, Kristy; his brothers, Jimmy; David (Luci); Joe (Mary); sister, Melissa; sons, Allen (Nadine); Shane; stepdaughter, Taisha (Drew); 15 grandchildren; 6 great grandchildren; all of whom he loved dearly. Rickey was a retired over the road truck driver. It was his love and passion to travel the roads of our beautiful country. He loved those trucks and took great pride in what he did. Rickey loved music, old TV shows, Nascar, bbq’s, bonfires, a good joke and story. He loved to laugh and cut up. Most of all he loved spending time with his family and friends. Rickey was a proud lifelong Christiana, TN resident. When he was younger, he served on the volunteer fire department. He grew up here and loved his neighbors and community as family. Rickey was so laid back and easy going. He was loving and kind and helped whoever, whenever he could. He believed in paying things forward even if it was the smallest of actions. To know him was to love him and we all sure do! We ask that you please come join us on April 23, 2022, from 11am-1pm for a visitation at Murfreesboro Funeral Home to share our love and memories of him. There will be a graveside service to follow at 2pm at Robinson Ridge Cemetery with Pastor Jay Jernigan officiating.
