Obituary of Heather Janel Taylor

Heather Janel Taylor, age 42 of Murfreesboro, TN passed away peacefully on Sunday, March 20, 2022. Heather was a native of Murfreesboro, where she attended Riverdale High School. She was a fun and loving person with an outgoing and funny personality. She loved to make her family and friends laugh at the smallest things. She had a love for all animals, big and small. She was known for bringing home strays that she would just find roaming. She enjoyed painting and spending quality time with her fiancé and her family. She was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents; Alf and Alta Taylor of Rockvale, TN., her paternal grandparents; Arthur “Pope” and Geneva Taylor of Murfreesboro, TN., along with numerous aunts and uncles. She is survived by her mother; Judy Taylor (Elmer Layhew) of Rockvale, TN., father; Arthur Taylor (Inge Martin) of Murfreesboro, TN., devoted fiancé; Michael Todd of Murfreesboro, TN., and stepchildren that she loved like her own; Dool Todd Lakeland, FL., Belladonna Todd of Nashville, TN., aunts; Jean Burns, of Rockvale, TN., Peggy McPeak of Murfreesboro, TN., Patsy Taylor of Murfreesboro, TN., Nina Taylor of Murfreesboro, TN., uncles; Stafford (Margaret) Taylor of Murfreesboro, TN., and numerous cousins. Visitation with the family will be held at Murfreesboro Funeral Home on Saturday, March 26, 2022, from 10am – 2pm with a graveside service to be held at Evergreen Cemetery at 2:30pm with Pastor Chuck Myers officiating. Cousins will be pallbearers.
