David Franklin Young, age 75 of Murfreesboro passed away Saturday, March 12, 2022. He is a native of Rutherford County. The son of the late Ted and Daisy Young. He is also preceded in death by his wife, Mattie White Young, brother, Winfred Young and sister Ann Young.
He was a loving father, brother and grandfather. He is survived by son Todd (Tammy) Young Sarasota, FL and daughters Kimberly Young (Jason) Lewis and Elicia Young of Murfreesboro; 4 grandchildren Cassidy Young, Caila Young, Bryce Lewis and Elexis Young. He is also survived by his sister Marie Brewer and brothers Cecil Young and Gary (Anita) Young.
David worked for Tennessee Farmers Cooperative for 21 years. He also served in the US Army for 9 years and also retired from Alvin C. York Medical Center in Murfreesboro
Visitation with the Family will be 4:00-8:00pm Wednesday, March 16, 2022 and 10:00am until 12:00pm Thursday, March 17, 2022 at Murfreesboro Funeral Home with the Funeral Service to follow at 12:00pm. pastor Darrel Whaley officiating. Interment Roselawn Memorial Gardens.
