Mike "The Blistah" Harrell, age 60, of Christiana, passed away Thursday, September 13, 2007 at NHC Healthcare. He was born in Murfreesboro to the late Raymond Benton and Lillie Zumbro Harrell. He was a 1964 graduate of Tullahoma High School and a 1968 graduate of Middle Tennessee State University. Mr. Harrell was a pharmaceutical salesman and a member of the Dilton Church of Christ. His dreams and love was his music.
Mr. Harrell is survived by his daughters, Meredith Harrell of Dallas, GA and Amy Edgar of Coopersburg, PA; son, John M. Harrell Jr of Nashville; brother, Norman Harrell of Knoxville; 5 grandchildren.
Memorial services for Mr. Harrell will be held at a later date.
The family asks in lieu of flowers donations be made to the ASCAPP Foundation, One Lincoln Plaza, New York, New York 10023 or American Cancer Society, P.O. Box 22718, Oklahoma City, OK 73123-1718.
