Dwayne “Dewey” Walter Bailey, age 88 years passed away Friday, February 25, 2022.
Preceded in death by wife Edith Ann Bailey; mother Mildred Bailey, father Onnie Otto Bailey, mother-in-law Dorothy E. Bullough, father-in-law William S. Bullough; sister Melva Jean Hutchins.
Survived by children Sharron (Richard Shane) Bailey Deal, Dean (Cathy) Bailey, and Dennis (Debbie) Bailey; grandchildren Tressa (Chad) Buschert, Bailey Todd, Tyler (Vera) Todd, Justin Bailey, Jarred Bailey, Joshua (Glenda) Shipley, Nichole Bailey, Bryan Bailey, and Dustin (Ashley) Shipley; 17 great grandchildren and 3 great great-grandchildren; brother-ilaw William (Angela) Bullough.
Mr. Bailey was a loving husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather, great great-grandfather, brother and friend.
He loved to read, garden, and travel the world with his family.
Visitation with the family will be 10:00-11:00 am Monday, March 7, 2022 at Murfreesboro Funeral Home with the funeral service at 11:00 am. Burial will follow 2:00pm at Middle Tennessee Veterans Cemetery, Nashville, TN
