Keith Whittimore age 72 passed away Saturday, February 12, 2022. Keith was preceded in death by his parents, Cecil H. Whittimore, Gladys Johnson Whittimore and brother Gregory K. Whittimore. He is survived by his wife of 48 years, Gerri Whittimore and son Steven Whittimore (sp: Michelle); grandchildren, Jackson (14), Levi (10), and Addisyn (8); sisters-in-law, Judy Cooper (sp: Calvin) and Ellen Carr (sp: Wayne); nieces, Kimberly Whittimore Paul and Regina Diehl (sp: Steve); nephew Matthew Carr and great-nieces Makendra & Emily Diehl. Keith was a U.S. Marine Corps veteran (2nd Battalion, 11th Marines 1st Marine Division) serving in Vietnam. Originally from Johnson City, TN, Keith and his wife moved to Murfreesboro to be close to their grandchildren. He loved watching his grandchildren play sports. Keith was a gentle, kind, loving and devoted husband and father. Visitation with the family will be 11:00am until 1:00pm Saturday, February 19, 2022 with the funeral service at 1:00pm at Murfreesboro Funeral Home. Burial will be 1:00pm Sunday, February 20, 2022 at Roselawn Memorial Gardens.
