Alvin Pope gained his wings 1/29/2022 and reunited with the love of his life Helen. He was born 1/27/1937 in Christiana, TN.
Preceded in death by his wife Helen Pope; mother Irene McCallum, son-in-law Jimmy Williams; Father Herman Pope; brothers Charles Pope and Robert McCullum.
Survived by his only child Rene Williams, 2 grandchildren Jessica Williams and James & Cyndi Williams and his 2 great grand girls Dixie & Hope Lynn.
Daddy worked hard all his life and played hard camping and fishing. A true definition of a husband for better or worse, sickness and in health. He retired to take care of mamma and he was by her side with love and dedication no matter what the task was he followed it through.
It is your time to rejoice in the reunion and dancing in the sky. Forever loved and missed.
Visitation with the family will be 10:00am until 12:00 pm Monday, January 31, 2022 at Murfreesboro Funeral Home with the funeral service at 12:00pm. Burial to follow at Coleman Cemetery. Pallbearers James Williams, TJ Reynolds, Bubba Shrum, Mike Fann, Stacy Webb, and Jerry Estes.
