Geraldine Rowlett Alcorn, age 86 of Rockvale, TN passed away at home surrounded by her loving family on Sunday, January 16, 2022. She was born on July 16, 1935, to the late Elroy Rowlett and Otha Rowlett Miller. Also preceded in death by her husband of 62 years; Walter Alcorn, sister; Dorothy Jean Tate, brothers; Doris Wayne Rowlett, Elroy Rowlett Jr., great grandson; Carter Simmons, son-in-law; Vernie Lee Hale, and a daughter-in-law; Robbie Alcorn. She is survived by daughters; Wardene Hale, Audrey (Leon) Morris, sons; David (Cindy) Alcorn, Daniel (Lisa Hall) Alcorn, 12 grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren, and sisters; Dora Little and Nancy Grissom. Visitation with the family will be held at Murfreesboro Funeral Home on Thursday, January 20, 2022, from 4pm – 7pm. Service will be Friday, January 21, 2022, at 10am with Brothers Roy Robinson and Bobby Black officiating. Interment will follow at Windrow Cemetery in Rockvale, TN. Murfreesboro Funeral Home is honored to serve the Alcorn family.
