Edith Anne Bailey, age 85 years, passed away Friday, December 31, 2021.
Preceded in death by parents, William S. and Dorothy E. Bullough; sister-in-law, Melva Jean Hutchins, mother-in-law Mildred Bailey and father-in-law Onnie Otto Bailey.
Survived by her husband of 66 years Dwayne W. Bailey; children Sharron (Richard Shane) Bailey Deal, Dean (Cathy) Bailey, and Dennis (Debbie) Bailey; grandchildren Tressa (Chad) Bushert, Bailey Todd, Tyler (Vera) Todd, Justin Bailey, Jarred Bailey, Joshua (Glenda) Shipley, Nicole Bailey, Bryan Bailey, and Dustin (Ashley) Shipley; 17 great grandchildren and 3 great great grandchildren; brother William R. (Angela) Bullough.
Mrs. Bailey was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, great great grandmother, sister and friend. She especially loved directing and singing with her Sweet Adeline’s chorus.
Visitation with the family will be held 3:00-6:00pm Sunday, January 9, 2022 at Murfreesboro Funeral Home. Funeral service will be held 11:00 am Monday, January 10, 2022 with visitation from 10:00am until service time at Murfreesboro Funeral Home
