George William Heaton, Jr, age 73, passed away Sunday, December 19, 2021. Preceded in death by parents George William and Louise Heaton; son William Dewayne Heaton; wives, Maggie Sue Heaton and Priscilla Mae Heaton; brother Bobby Heaton; sister Betty Heaton. Survived by daughter, Sherry (Ira) Campbell; grandsons Coty Heaton, Rian (Danielle) Campbell, and Brannon Campbell; great-grandson Lathan Campbell; brother, David Heaton and sisters, Kay Stone and Linda Heaton. He was also survived by several step-children, step-grandchildren, step-great grandchildren, and many others who referred to his as their bonus Papa. William loved his church, his family, his dogs and fishing. He is known to be a jack of all trades, but master of none because he loved to tinker with anything. William was known by many and loved by all. Visitation with the family will be held 10:00am until 1:30pm Thursday, December 23, 2021 at Creekmont General Baptist Church, 5867 Washington Blvd, Murfreesboro, TN 37129 with the funeral service to follow at 1:30pm. Interment to follow at Roselawn Memorial Gardens.
