Jonathan David McAteer, age 41, went to heaven Saturday November 20, 2021. He was the son of Edward E McAteer Jr and Linda McAteer. He is survived by his wife Tabitha Dailey McAteer; daughters Adrienna, Rilyn and son Braden and stepchildren Austin, Kaitlyn, Mason and Damon. Other survivors also include his brother Eddie (Lauri) McAteer, sister Jennifer (Richard) Sanders, 4 nieces, 2 nephews and a great niece.
He was part owner of Middle Tennessee Auto Brokers in Gallatin, TN and a resident of Shelbyville, TN. A graduate of Oakland High School in Murfreesboro, he was an avid Tennessee Volunteers, Tennessee Titans and Nashville Predators fan.
Visitation with the family will be from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM, Friday November 26th, 2021, with the funeral service at 1:00 PM at Murfreesboro Funeral Home. Interment to follow at Evergreen Cemetery in Murfreesboro. Pallbearers will be Eddie McAteer, Tripp Davis, Evan McAteer, Avery Vaughn, Greyson Vaughn and Mike McAteer.
