Tanya DeNay Shockey, age 48 of Rockvale, TN went to her heavenly home on Friday, November 12, 2021.
Born on December 3, 1972, in Franklin, TN.
Preceded in death by her father; John Beatey Jr., grandparents; Roy and Ruby Frost, John and Kate Beatey, and father-in-law; Wayne Shockey.
She is survived by her loving husband of 30 years Michael Shockey, children; Ruby (Micheal) Adams, Kelly Shockey, Sarah Shockey, Steven Shockey, Aries Shockey, Cassi Shockey, mother; Nell Frost Beatey, mother-in-law; Thelma Shockey, brother; Tony (Debbie) Beatey, brother-in-law; Dennis (Lori) Shockey, Daniel (Melody) Shockey, nephews; Josh Hill, Dylan Beatey, Brian Shockey, nieces; Brittany (Jesse) Mayfield, Jessica Hill, Cassidy Shockey, and Jordan Mooneyham.
Tanya was a loving mother, wife, and friend.
Visitation with the family will be held at Murfreesboro Funeral Home on Tuesday, November 16, 2021, from 10am – 2pm with services to follow. Interment will be at Robinson Ridge Cemetery with Pastor Ben Martin officiating.
Pallbearers will be Michael Shockey, Steven Shockey, Tony Beatey, Dennis Shockey, Daniel Shockey, and Brian Shockey.
In lieu of flowers, the family ask that if you would like to help with something memorable to make donations to Murfreesboro Funeral Home to go toward her headstone.
