Obituary of Elaine Bush Porter

On Thursday evening, October 14, 2021, Raychel Elaine Bush Porter, loving mother and Nana passed away at age 60. Elaine was born September 18, 1961, in Norfolk, VA to Vernon and Barbara Bush. She loved to travel and see new things, which led her to move around quite a bit. She lived in Georgia, South Carolina, North Carolina, New Mexico, and most recently Tennessee. She worked many years in data-entry, billing, sales, and customer service. Elaine was a strong, independent, caring, and loving woman. Her greatest accomplishment was her children and grandchildren and she treasured spending time with them and spoiling them with her love. She enjoyed many hobbies, such as, having English-style tea, playing bingo, getting pedicures, collecting knick-knacks, and reading the latest gossip. She was also an avid music lover and her favorite singer was George Strait. She will be missed dearly. Elaine was preceded in death by her mother and father, and son, Matthew Porter. She is survived by her daughters, Racheal Beth Robbins-Magallanez (Spouse Jesse) and Audrey Robbins Leopard; grandchildren, Camryn, Franky, Nico, Kristen, and Matthew; great-grandchildren, Parker, Brycen, Pheonix, Lucas, Wyatt, and Jack; four sisters, Theresa Carr and Jennifer Bush of Indiana, Amee Bush of South Carolina, and Sarah Lynn Walker of Virginia; one nephew, Kyle Walker and several other family members and friends. Visitation will be held at Murfreesboro Funeral Home Monday, October 18, 2021, from 2-3 pm and the memorial service will follow at 3 pm.
