James “Jim” Howard Watson, age 56 years passed away Tuesday, September 7, 2021. Preceded in death by his mother Sally Wynn and brother Scott Watson. Survived by wife Tammy Watson; daughters Brittany (Michael) Morris and Amber (Josh) Nason; sons Joshua (Heidi) Earley, Jesse Watson, and Jake Watson; grandchildren Elaina and Evelyn Morris, and Bennett Nason; father Howard Watson and brother Jeff (Bethany) Watson. Jim had an absolute love for classic cars especially “Mistress” his 57 Chevy, and completely restoring them. He always had a cold bottle of Coke in his hand. Jim worked as a millwright for 23 years. His greatest love was his family especially his 5 kids and 3 grandchildren and enjoyed coaching baseball at the Smyrna Youth Program. Visitation with the family will be 4:00-8:00 pm Monday, September 13, 2021 at Murfreesboro Funeral Home. Funeral services will be 12:00 noon Tuesday, September 14, 2021 at Murfreesboro Funeral Home with Nathan Newell officiating. Interment to follow at Evergreen Cemetery.
