Obituary of Lytle Franklin Mathews

Lytle “Franklin” Mathews, age 81 of Murfreesboro, TN passed away at St. Thomas Rutherford in surgery of abdominal aneurysm on Friday, May 14, 2021.
He was a Vietnam War Veteran and later worked and retired from General Electric of 35 years.
Franklin was born in Lascassas, TN on February 7, 1940 to the late William Thomas and Sally Glover Hill Mathews.
Also preceded by his brothers: Clayton Mathews, Kyle Mathews, Donald Mathews, Jerry Wayne Mathews, sisters: Marvis Cherry and Peggy Martin.
He was survived by his loving wife of 58 years, Clara Corley Mathews, and numerous nieces and nephews.
Graveside services will be held on Wednesday, May 19, 2021 at 10am at Roselawn Memorial Gardens in Murfreesboro, TN.
