Susie Denman Elliott passed away peacefully at her home in Murfreesboro, Tn on April 19,
2021. She was 66 years old. Susie will always be remembered for her love for life and her witty
sense of humor. She got the most enjoyment out of spending time with family, friends, and her
dogs. She was the life of every gathering she attended. Susie was preceded in death by her
father Elmer Hoyle (Denny) Denman Jr. and her mother Ruby Louise Denman of Smithville, TN.
She leaves behind her devoted husband Gerald Elliott to whom she was with for 31 years. Her
siblings include sister Debbie (Brice) Reynolds and brother Bud (Billie)Denman, sister-in-law
Sandy Elliott and brother-in-law Thomas “Sonny” (Luna) Elliott. Her children include daughter
Anglea H. Jennings (James Winton) and sons Kris (Holly) White, Cedric Elliott (Jennifer
Holloway), Ryan (Jan) White, and Joey (Emily) Petty. Susie’s greatest accomplishment was
watching her grandchildren thrive and grow. These include Naleon (Tony) Holman, Elizabeth
(Sissy) Holman, Hyacinth (Tinae) Bean, Benny (Jauan) Jennings, Kaden White, Isabel Petty,
Dawson White, Isaiah Petty, Isaac Petty, Matthew White, Caleb White as well as eight great
grandchildren. A celebration of life will be held at her home at a later date.
