Lura Hall Hibdon, age 93 of Murfreesboro, TN passed away around her loving family on Friday, April 2, 2021.
She is preceded in death by her parents; Marlin Jackson and Florence Mae Ward Alsup, first wonderful husband of 54 years Drury Hall, her loving second husband Claude Hibdon, siblings; John, William, Rene, Ace, Randolph, Susie, Mae, Hyse, Jane, Ernest, Belle.
She was survived by daughters; Ann Sparks, Drulene (Jimmy) Francis, step-sons; dan (Mary) Hibdon, Dwain Hibdon, grandchildren; Renee (Jeff) Webb, Robin Sparks, Richard (Leslie) Sparks, Angie (Bill) McCormack, Jon (Jill) McDaniel, step-grandchildren; Marty Francis, Amanda Coleman, Kimberly Hibdon, Brooke (McClain) Pope, Bryan (Amy) Hibdon, Jacob Hibdon, Leslie (John Bayne) Hibdon, 19 great grandchildren, 3 great great grandchildren, and a brother; Sam Roy Alsup.
Lura was a life long home maker, a license beautician, and had worked at Chromalox in her earlier years. She is a life time member of Hebron Church of Christ.
Visitation will be held at Murfreesboro Funeral Home on Tuesday, April 6, 2021 at 11am – 1pm with services to follow at 1pm in the chapel. Interment will be at the family Alsup Cemetery.
