Eugene Kenneth Tidwell, age 82 of Murfreesboro, TN. passed away at home on Sunday, March 7, 2021.
Eugene was a member of Highland Heights Church of Christ in Smyrna, TN.
He is preceded in death by his parents; Emmett and Dorothy Dorton Tidwell, son; Eugene Edward Tidwell, brothers; Johnny Tidwell, Jack Tidwell, sister; Claudia Presley.
He was survived by his wife of 62 years, Barbara Tidwell, son; Terry Tidwell, daughter; Donna French; 12 grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren, brother; Chester Tidwell and several nieces and nephews.
He moved to Illinois in 1965 where he worked at Quaker Oats 10 years, then moved back to Tennessee and started working at American National Can for 10 years where he later retired. He was very handy with fixing all things that needed to be fixed and even sometimes when things did not need fixed.
Graveside services will be held at Roselawn Memorial Gardens on Wednesday, March 10, 2021 at 11am with Bro. Kelly Campbell officiating.
