Joe Wilson Gambill, 67, of Murfreesboro, passed away Thursday, February 09, 2012 at Community Care of Rutherford County. Mr. Gambill was born in Smyrna to the late Walter Clifton and Emma Mae Young Gambill. He was a member of North Boulevard Church of Christ and a past employee of Nissan. He was an avid UT Vols fan.
Mr. Gambill was preceded in death by his parents, brother, Walter Lee Gambill, and nephew, Clift Gambill. He is survived by his wife, Judy Harris Gambill; son, Scott (Monica) Gambill of Murfreesboro; sister, Dorothy (Lonnie) Gammons of La Vergne; sister-in-law, Ann Gambill of Smyrna; and granddaughter, Lilly Gambill.
Visitation with the family will be Friday, February 10, 2012 from 4:00pm - 8:00pm at Murfreesboro Funeral Home.
Funeral service will be Saturday, February 11, 2012 at 1:00pm at Murfreesboro Funeral Home with Bro. Joe Mayes officiating. Entombment to follow at Roselawn Memorial Gardens. Pallbearers will be friends and family.
In lieu of flowers the family requests memorial donations be made to Boys and Girls Club, Humane Society, or the Parkinson Foundation.
