Obituary of Fayett Maynard Jr.

F.C. "Charlie" Maynard, 71 of Nashville, passed away Thursday, January 27, 2011. Mr. Maynard was a veteran of the United States Coast Guard. He began his career at an early age working at Water Bonnet in Casselberry,FL. Afterwards he served in many OEM manufacturing positions before forming Transwind which was later purchased by Water Bonnet leading him once again to Water Bonnet. Charlie eventually founded J-Dak in 1987 soon becoming an integral part of his life. Charlie gave freely of love. He was known for his positive outlook in all aspects of life. His kindness, sense of humor, passion, and adventurous spirit influenced the lives of many who knew him. Mr. Maynard was preceded in death by his father, Fayett Charles Maynard, Sr. and sister, Louise M. Lansing. He is survived by his loving bride of 13 years, Martha Bills-Maynard; mother, Bertha L. Maynard; son Fayett "Chuck" Maynard III; daughters, Debbie (Mark) Troia; Aimee Maynard (Cheryl Forbing); and Jennifer (Richard) Bidlake; stepdaughters, Lee (Matthew) Miller; Patti (Tommy) Willhite; 10 grandchildren; and 5 great grandchildren. Celebration of Charlie's life will be Wednesday, February 2, 2011 at 11:00am presided by Mark Lowe at the J-Dak plant located at 6257 Hwy 76 E. in Springfield, TN.
