James Ray Sterling, age 78 of Murfreesboro, TN passed away on Sunday, January 17, 2021 around his loving family.
Born on January 20, 1942 in Lancaster, OH to the late Charles Sterling and Bernice Alspach Roshon.
Also preceded in death by his son; Lance Sterling and brother; Charles Sterling.
He is survived by his wife; Brenda Sterling, children; Karen (James) Tindall, Cheryl (Mark) Hollinshead, Jackie (Tyree) Wright, Nickie Anders, grandchildren; Michael Boner, Brandy Baucom, Benjamin Sterling, Jacob Sterling, Heather Meece, Alexis Tindall, Schuyler Sterling, Irish Sterling, J.J. Galland, Ethan Wright, great grandchildren; Tibelia Boner, Sophia Vaughn, Evangelique Boner, Amelia Meece and sister; Sharon (Richard) Welch, niece; Natalie Welch, and nephew; Robert Welch.
Visitation will be held at Murfreesboro Funeral Home on Saturday, January 30, 2021 from 1pm – 3pm with private family service to follow at 3pm in the chapel. Officiating will be Pastor James Morton.
