Obituary of Eva Marie Jennings

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing away of Eva Marie Jennings, 32, of Murfreesboro, TN, on Wednesday, December 23, 2020. She is survived by her fiancé Joshua Steverson, their newborn son, Bentlee Dakota, who was born only 9 days earlier on December 14th, and Joshua's daughter, Narissa. She also leaves behind her mother, Josephine Rollins of Murfreesboro, her father, Wilmot Jennings of Watertown, her brother Garrick Jennings and his wife Krystal of Huntsville, AL, her brother Gerald (Tripp) Rollins III and sister Crystal Ann Rollins of Murfreesboro, her devoted Aunt Patricia Brooks of Clover, SC, and numerous other aunts, uncles, and cousins in South Carolina. Eva enjoyed camping, kayaking, hiking, horseback riding, and her dog, Mia. She was devoted to her work at Family Vision Care in Murfreesboro, where she and her co-workers considered each other family. Even the customers loved her. Eva was beloved by all who knew her. She possessed and displayed an unmatched compassion and love for everyone she met, which was made evident by the overwhelming outpouring of support of those who knew her. She will be sorely missed by all, but we can take solace in the fact that she is now an angel who will watch over us for the rest of our days, until we are all reunited in the kingdom of heaven. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, December 29th from 10:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m. at Murfreesboro Funeral Home. Services will take place upon completion of visitation at 2:00, and officiated by Pastor Corey Trimble of her beloved Experience Community Church. She will be layed to rest after the service at Coleman Cemetary on Woodbury Pike just outside of Murfreesboro.
