Robert Kenneth “Kenny” Allison, II 38 years old of Smyrna, TN went to his heavenly home on Thursday, October 22 at St Thomas Rutherford Hospital after losing his battle to Cancer. Kenny was born in Conyers, Ga and grew up in Loganville, Ga. Kenny then made the move to TN where he was employed by The Nashville Zoo and later Nissan Manufacturing in Smyrna, TN. Kenny was very proud of his job at Nissan. Everyone who knew Kenny loved him. His infectious smile and warm personality was one of a kind. He never had an unkind word to speak of anyone. He had a heart of Gold. To know him was to love him. Kenny was proceeded in death by his father Robert Kenneth Allison I. Kenny is survived by his fiancé Lisa Poteete of Smyrna, TN and Jayden Burgess also of their home, whom he considered his own son. They had a bond like no other. He is also survived by his parents Darlene and Step Father David Cruce, Sister Cammie (Josh Roystr) Cruce, Brothers Brandon Cruce ( Ashley Morgan), Darren Allison. His aunt Dale Allison Roop and cousin Salina Allison. Kenny also leaves behind his best friends Paul (Lisa) Collins, Clint (Courtney) Layfield and Michael( Priscilla) Mantor. Kenny also left behind a very special friendship he cherished with Pastor Nick Persons of New Vision Baptist Church. A celebration of life will be held in Kenny’s honor at New Vision Baptist Church on Saturday, Nov 7th. Visitation will be from 10am - 11am with service to follow at 11am in the chapel. New Vision Baptist Church, 1750 N. Thompson Lane, Murfreesboro, TN 37129. A special Thank you to the Sarah Cannon Cancer center in Smyrna for all the love they showed our family during Kenny’s treatment.
