Mabel Jeanette Winters, age 92, passed away on Thursday, September 24, 2020 in Murfreesboro, Tennessee with her son Joe and daughter-in-law Patricia by her side. Mabel was born March 15, 1928 in Adairsville, Kentucky to the late Windell and Madge Coleman. She was preceded in death by her husband Joseph W. Winters Jr., her sister Helen Sircy, and her brother Wayne Grayson. Mabel is survived by her son, Joseph C. Winters, daughter-in-law, Patricia S. Winters, grandson, Jeremy Winters (wife Kristin) and granddaughter, Allison Hanlin (husband Jason), five great grandchildren Emma Winters, Ava Winters, Simon Winters, Tully Hanlin, and Olive Hanlin. Mabel retired from Nashville Electric Service after over 40 years of service. Mabel loved flowers, birds and cooking. She loved sharing recipes and giving cookbooks to her family and friends. Everyone loved her salmon patties and her Ambrosia cake. Mabel also loved her nephews and nieces: Wynn Sircy (wife Susie), Ronnie Sircy, Janice Sircy, Julie Sircy and Keith Grayson (wife Teresa and son Jonas). Funeral services will be held Friday, October 9 at 2:00 PM at Middle Tennessee State Veterans Cemetery, 7931 McCrory Lane, Nashville, TN 37221.
