Eldon R. Twilley, age 90 passed away Friday, January 31, 2020.
Preceded in death by wife Wilma Twilley; parents Morris E. and Ella M. McCord Twilley.
Survived by wife Dorothy Twilley; sons, Danny (Diane) Twilley of Hermitage and Mike (Janice) Twilley of Memphis; daughter Cathy Lipsey, Memphis; step children Linda Lewis of Florida and Debbie (David) Vick of Murfreesboro; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Mr. Twilley was a member of Kingwood Heights Church of Christ and served in the US Air Force. Eldon loved to paint, study Scripture, work crossword and jigsaw puzzles, piddle with household projects and play a very competitive game of cards. A loving husband, wonderful father and sweet grandfather, he is loved greatly by his family and will be missed terribly.
Services will be held 2:00 pm Tuesday, February 4, 2020 at Murfreesboro Funeral Home with visitation from 1:00 pm until service time at 2:00 pm.
Interment 12:00 pm Wednesday at Forest Hills East Cemetery, Memphis, TN.
