Hoyte Ray Leonard, age 84 passed away Wednesday, January 1, 2020. Preceded in death by wife, Martha Virginia Leonard; children, Kenny Ray Leonard, Stanley Wayne Leonard and Beverly Shawn Hurst; brother, Charles Kenneth Leonard, and parents, Richard Guy and Annie Elizabeth Leonard. Survived by wife, Wanda Neal Leonard; daughters, Deborah Kay (David) Flinn and Sherry Lynn (Timothy) McDonald; step-son, Mike (Christy) Chambers; grandchildren, Keith, Richard and David Leonard, Coty and Ethan Woods, Shelby Flinn Sallie, Joshua and Kyle Maxwell; step-grandchildren, Kelly, Lindsey and Mickey McDonald, Chris and James Chambers, and Erin Chambers; 23 great-grandchildren and brother, Richard Guy Leonard, Jr. and sister-in-law, Rose Leonard. Visitation will be held Thursday, January 2, 2020 at Murfreesboro Funeral Home from 3:30 until 7:00 pm and Friday, January 3, 2020 from 11:00 am until 1:00 pm. Funeral service will be 1:00 pm Friday, January 3, 2020 at Murfreesboro Funeral Home with the interment to follow at Coleman Cemetery. Pallbearers: Chris and James Chambers, Joshua and Kyle Maxwell, Richard Leonard and Ethan Woods.
