Obituary of Leila Beverly Glasgow

Leila Beverly Glasgow, 84 of Hinton formerly of Murfreesboro, TN passed away at 11:25 p.m. Monday Dec. 9, 2019 at her home following a short illness.

 

Born August 20, 1935 in Pipestone, Minnesota, she was the daughter of the late Lee Henry and Lily Walden Volk.

 

Ms. Glasgow was a homemaker and was Greek Orthodox. She had been a resident of West Virginia with her daughter for a brief time.

 

She was preceded in death by her husband John Merlin Glasgow in 2015.

 

Survivors include four sons, Dominic  J. Glasgow of Freeland, MI, Kevin L. Glasgow of Milwaukee, WI, John M. Glasgow of Fondulac, WI and Christoper R. Glasgow of Burlington, IA; three daughters, Cheryl Flanagan of Hinton, with whom she made her home, Janean Crandall of Stronghurst, IL and Heidi Bosworth of LaCrosse, WI.  Several grandchildren and great granchildren also survive.

 

Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Saturday December 14, 2019 at St. Elizabeth Orthodox Christian Church in Murfreesboro, TN with Fr. John Oliver officiating. Interment will be in St. Ignatius Cemetery in Franklin, TN. There will be a Trisagion Prayer Service at 6:00 p.m. Friday Dec. 13th at St. Elizabeth's with visitation following from 7:00 p.m. until 9 p.m.
