A1C Cody Scallorn, age 18, of Murfreesboro, passed away Wednesday, January 04, 2012. He was born in Dunedin, FL and he was a resident of Murfreesboro. A1C Cody Scallorn was assigned to the 343rd Training Squadron of the United States Air Force. He entered the United States Air Force in July 2011 and was a graduate of Riverdale High School.
A1C Cody Scallorn is survived by his parents, Robert and Peggy Scallorn; sisters, Megan Scallorn; Morgan Scallorn, grandparents, Richard and Barbara Griffith of Monticello, IN; grandparents, Charles Scallorn of Wilmer, AL; Nancy Shakespeare of Murfreesboro; several aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.
Visitation with the family will be Saturday, January 07, 2012 from 3:00pm - 7:00pm at Murfreesboro Funeral Home.
Funeral service will be Sunday, January 08, 2012 at 2:00pm at Murfreesboro Funeral Home with Lt Col Martin Nutter, Chaplain USAF officiating. Full Military Honors to follow.
In lieu of flowers family ask for donations be made to The Warrior Foundation at www.warriorfoundation.com.
